RMNCH+A rapid health assessment through community and facility health survey of primary health care services in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh
Change Alliance was retained by WISH Foundation (formerly Lords Education and Health Society) for their RMNCH+A project’s rapid health assessment (study/assignment) that includes a community and facility health survey of primary health care services in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. The Project’s aim was to improve the quality of and access to primary healthcare services for the underserved communities. It focused on implementing primary healthcare models through partnerships with state governments, international agencies, and the private sector. 5 cities of Urban Madhya Pradesh cover a similar number of PHC and Sub centres. The cities covered were Bhopal, Vidisha, Jabalpur, Indore, and Gwalior.
Change Alliance conducted the assignment involving secondary and primary research, using a mixed research design, broadly covering the following three components:
- Community Health Survey
- Facility Mapping
- Qualitative assessment
Study coverage:
- 5 divisions of Rural Rajasthan covering 24 PHCs and 24 Sub centres. Divisions are Bharatpur, Bikaner, Jaipur, Kota, and Udaipur
